Cortex EDI uses SSL security across all web products. Your browser will usually display an indicator (such as a "lock" icon) when using a secure SSL connection.

Cortex EDI uses a HIPAA compliant data center to host servers and data.

Unique Users in Compliance with HIPAA Requirements

Cortex EDI requires users to have unique usernames and a valid email address to be associated with every user.

Every account password is required at a minimum to meet our password policy to ensure password complexity and account security. A user may change their password at any time.

Cortex EDI will never store passwords in permanent storage in a way that is reversible and will never show the password in a plain-text readable form.

Password Policy:
  • Eight characters in length (minimum)
  • Contain a combination of alpha and numeric characters
  • Include at least one (1) uppercase and one (1) lowercase letter
  • Contain a special character; e.g. @, #, $

Changes to This Security Policy

Cortex EDI may update this policy at any time for any reason. If there are any significant changes to our security policies and how we manage account security, we will make a reasonable effort to send a notice to the contact email address on your account or by placing a notice on our website.
